I've got a quickie face of the day post for you, courtesy of my phone. I finally figured out a way to make my cell pics look decent. I use the Airdroid app to connect my phone to my laptop. From there I can upload my pic to editing software and then proceed as usual. I've noticed it makes a huge difference, the pics look less grainy that way. They're not perfect... but a huge improvement! But I digress...
In case you haven't noticed, I LOVE me a bright lip. It's the quickest way for me to look awake, and I can get away with less makeup. Lately I've been on a pink kick so I present Mattese Elite lipstick in Porn Star (cuz I'm classy like that!) This is one of my favorite pink lippies EVER, it's an intense blue-pink. As you can see, it freaks my camera out! Like most of the Mattese Elite line, I suspect this may have a MAC cousin. I would consider this to be similar to am amplified finish, very creamy and lasts for a while.

If you can get your hands on Porn Star, I HIGHLY recommend it. However it's being discontinued (along with the rest of the Mattese Elite line... I was so gutted when I found out!) and it's no longer on the website. You ::may:: be able to find it at Ricky's stores around New York City.

Thanks for checking me out! Try using a bright colored gloss, it's all about baby steps. Also try out different types of colors, cool tones, warm tones,etc until you find the perfect one.
